Three Financial Tips for Women in All Stages of Life

Transcript

Hi, I'm Jessica Marino. I'm a CFP professional, CIMA (Certified Investment Management Analyst), and the owner of Marino Wealth. Today, I want to share three tips for successful women in regards to their finances.

1. Be aware and be informed when it comes to your finances.

I don't expect you to be an expert, but it's important to know what you have and where you have it. So even if you have a significant other or professional helping to guide you, or new to taking the reins on your finances, I still think it's important to be informed and aware of what you have going on financially.

2. Don't do nothing!

Now, this may seem pretty obvious, but you'd be surprised at how often I see this. At times, People don't know what to do when it comes to their finances, so instead they just do nothing. And, certainly in some cases, this can lead to still being in a good financial situation, but it's definitely not going to be as efficient as it would be if you actually did something.

3. Have a plan in place.

When I say have a plan, I could be referring to your career, your finances as a whole, or both. I just think having a plan allows you to address your financial decisions more intentionally, and then that's going to increase the likelihood of actually getting to where you want to be financially, and getting the things you want with your money.

Thank you so much for reviewing these tips with me. And again, my three tips for women are: number one, be aware and be informed. Number two, don't do nothing!
